Musona snub for Chiefs

Cape Town - Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona will join former Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali at Belgian outfit KV Oostende.

READ: Preview: Chiefs v Black Aces.

The 24-year-old Musona made the switch to Belgium from German club Hoffenheim, and has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, ending speculation that he will return to former club Kaizer Chiefs.

The deal was confirmed by Musona’s agent, Mike Makaab.

"First and foremost we want to thank Kaizer Chiefs and their supporters for their part in his career and Hoffenheim for realising his potential. Things didn't work out in Germany, but it was a great experience for him overall.

"Knowledge wanted to stay in Europe and, as his representatives, we had to make that happen. Oostende is a great opportunity for him to show what he's capable of.

"I want to thank Marc Coucke and everyone at Oostende for giving him this opportunity. Hopefully he'll form a nice partnership with Andile [Jali]," Makaab was quoted as saying by the All Africa website.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
