According to KickOff.com, Motaung admits that Musona was open to a short-term with Amakhosi.

The Zimbabwean striker’s ambitions is playing in Europe and would involve the 24-year-old leaving Chiefs whenever an opportunity arises.

Motaung declares from an “investment point of view” that it would not “business sense” for the Glamour Boys.

However the positive news for Amakhosi fans is that the striker could still end up in a yellow jersey as the football manager confesses to a January transfer swoop.

“We would still pursue the matter going forward without pressure because there is a transfer window in January,” said Motaung.

“The matter is not closed.

"If he feels that he wants to continue there (in Europe) that’s his right, but Musona is like a son to us and he will always be welcome at Chiefs.”

Kaizer Chiefs are up against SuperSport United in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, August 30 at 20:15.

Chiefs will be looking to continue their 100% winning ways against a struggling SuperSport United.
