Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung admits there is
no further clarity over Knowledge Musona's future as the side continue
their pre-season preparations.
The Zimbabwe international saw his loan stay at Amakhosi come to
an end following the conclusion of the 2013/14 PSL campaign, although it
is unclear whether parent club Hoffenheim are keen on his return.
The striker, who missed the final two months of the season with
an ankle injury, has also been tipped with a move to Saudi Arabia's top
flight, although Motaung, whose side head to Port Elizabeth for a second
training camp this week, admits he remains unsure of where Musona will
end up next term.
"We had hoped to finalise this [Musona's future] last week, but that hasn't happened," Motaung told The Sowetan.
"The team leaves for PE soon and will only return to Johannesburg
a few days before the Carling Cup pre-season match against Orlando
Pirates and we need to know who is staying and who is going.
"His (Musona's) agent had mentioned an offer from Saudi Arabia,
but I think it has fallen through because if it was going to
materialise, I would have heard about it by now.
"Musona has fully recovered from his injury and is eager to know about his next move."
