Musona back at Kaizer Chiefs

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the club have re-signed Knowledge Musona from Hoffenheim on a one-year loan.

According to the Football411 website, the Zimbabwean striker originally joined the Amakhosi in 2009 without having made an appearance in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League, and was awarded the PSL Club Rookie of the Year award in his first season at Naturena.

Speaking to the club's official website, Musona said: "There's nothing much to say - Kaizer Chiefs is my team and my first home.

"I am happy to be back. And looking forward to the season and working with the players and the technical team. Any jersey number will do for me, as I don't play a number, I play football.

"My stay in Germany was tough especially as I didn't get much game time due to changes in management at both teams that I played for.

"I always checked Chiefs results on line. And was happy to see that PSL has become tough, there is no longer a small team and was also happy to see the league getting stronger."
