Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral says it is an honour playing against title contenders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ertugral says that Aces may not be the biggest team in the league but he is confident that his team is strong enough to take on the PSL league contenders.
“Obviously playing against Sundowns is always a great honour because they are such a big team and one of the contenders for the title this season,” Ertugral told Sport24.
“I think at this point in time we can see where Sundowns is and where they are headed and we need to make our move too, because we are under pressure to come out and perform.
“It is a tough match, a challenge which we have to be prepared for mentally and physically.
“We are just looking to play good football you know.
“We are not the biggest team but we are strong enough to take on PSL contenders.
“I am glad with where my team is and we are a small squad with a clean bill of health, we are never physical in our games,” he concluded.
Aces will play against Sundowns on Tuesday, August 25 at the Mbombela Stadium.
Kick-off is set for 19:30.
