Cape Town - Following his lack of game time last season, Mamelodi Sundowns goal poacher Katlego Mphela has been linked with a move back to his former team, SuperSport United.
The North West-born striker fall out of favour with coach Pitso Mosimane last season, despite being preferred as Bafana Bafana's top striker.
Mphela, 28, is yet to start a game for the five-time Absa Premiership champions this season, but has made a few appearances as a substitute.
"Killer", as Mphela is affectionately known, has netted two league goals for the high flying Sundowns this season after coming on as a second half substitute against AmaZulu last month when they gave Usuthu a 7-1 humbling at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
Mphela scored a brace in that game.
Goal.com reported that the former Bafana striker is most likely to end up at their Pretoria rivals' camp ,although it was also speculated that the 2013 CAF Champions League finalists, Orlando Pirates, are also interested in his services.
