Amakhosi have failed to live up to the high standards their fans are used to, as they were eliminated from the Telkom Knockout by Platinum Stars, were defeated at home by Golden Arrows in the PSL late in September, and were beaten in the MTN8 final by Orlando Pirates.
However, Motaung remains bullish and has made it clear he will not even consider leaving the club his family built.
"I was born here at Chiefs, it is my home. I'm going nowhere," Motaung told the Sowetan.
"When I signed Knowledge Musona, people were saying all sorts of things. They even laughed at us saying we get additional players for free when we bring players from Zimbabwe. Look what Knowledge did for us. Where is he now?
"There is no way I will destroy this club. This is a family business and I did not apply for the job. My father (Kaizer) has invested his life in this club. We are all working hard to ensure Chiefs continue to dominate."
"We have lost two cups already and we are worried about that, and now we have to fight for the league and the remaining cup," he added.
