Mosimane: We always play to win

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane reveals that it is not going to be easy to contend for the title this season.

Mosimane told Mamelodi Sundowns website, that their second PSL match of the season against Bidvest Wits will not be an easy encounter but they will play to win like they always do.

“Everybody wants it [the league title] and it is not going to be easy,” the former Bafana Bafana mentor said.

“We will always play to win, and we did that when we played Bloemfontein Celtic [in the MTN8] and Platinum Stars.

“I think we still need one player upfront who can bring a different dimension to our attack.

“Mame Niang provided that option, but we had to give him the opportunity to go and play overseas.

“Hopefully we will sign Leonardo Castro who can bring a new option.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Bidvest Wits at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, August 22.

Kick-off is set for 15:00.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
