Moon to leave Sundowns

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Bryce Moon will not be renewing any deal with the club as he looks to secure a move away at the end of the current season.

The full-back has dropped out of the reckoning at Chloorkop almost entirely, having failed to make a single appearance for the Brazilians this term.

And, the former Bafana Bafana international's agent Mike Makaab has confirmed his client will bring an end to his stay in Tshwane at the end of the campaign.

"We will not be renewing. As it stands we are looking for a loan or a permanent move during the January transfer window and, failing that, a new club come the end of the season," Makaab is quoted as saying by KickOff.

"Bryce has obviously fallen out of favour with the coach and he is too good a player to be sitting in the stands every game.

“So we will move him on in the new season to a club where he will make a difference and hopefully get regular game-time."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
