Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Thabo Moloi has praised his coach Gordon Igesund for the "positive impact" he has brought to the team dressing room.
Igesund has guided the Matsatsantsa to five victories out of six games in all competitions since taking over from Cavin Johnson in September.
“I’m happy with what we have been able to produce in the last games we have played under him [Igesund],” KickOff.com website quotes Moloi as saying.
"He has had a positive impact in the changeroom and we as the players are responding well. So hats go off to him.”
United next face Ajax Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium on Sunday.
“We looked at this last win as kind of the final before the final,” Moloi said.
“You play in a place like Bidvest Stadium and you come out with a win – that’s exactly what you want to do when you’re at this stage.
“So it definitely gives us a little momentum as we look forward to our league match with Ajax this weekend.”
United are currently sitting 10th on the table just five points behind second-placed Ajax.
