Mogale returns to Chippa

Cape Town - Chippa United have restored the old regime with the reappointment of Floyd Mogale as Roger Sikhakhane's assistant coach.

Mogale, who was fired last season together with Sikhakhane, joined Free State Stars after his short-lived stint with the Chilli Boys.

But Mogale was also shown the door recently when Ea Lla Koto axed their entire technical team, including head coach Kinnah Phiri.

Club chairman Chippa Mpengesi has since confirmed Mogale's return in a statement, which read: "I am pleased to welcome Floyd Mogale back to the club. He worked very well with our head coach Roger Sikhakhane last season.

"He is someone who understands the culture of this club and brings a lot of experience to the technical team."

Mogale, who will face his former employers Stars when Chippa travel to Goble Park on Saturday afternoon, was grateful for the return.

He added: "I would like to thank the chairman and Roger for bringing me back to the club. I am delighted to be back here and look forward to working with management, the technical team and players to growing the brand that is Chippa United to another level."
