PSL
Modise: Downs will come good

Johannesburg - Teko Modise insists there is nothing wrong at Mamelodi Sundowns
despite the fact the club are experiencing their worst ever start in the
PSL era.
Sundowns are currently second from bottom in the league standings with just one win all season.
But they face off against neighbours University of Pretoria in
the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout on Tuesday and Modise insists a win
will help the Brazilians turn the corner.
"There is nothing wrong at Sundowns," he told Football411.
"The only thing to do is to start winning games. We know the pressure
that we have, we have been saying this as players so we have the
obligation to deliver. Hopefully we can do that in this game against
AmaTuks.
"We will try to stay positive even though we are not getting
positives results," he admitted. "But we have been playing well and the
only problem is that we are just making a couple of mistakes.
"We know that against AmaTuks there has to be one winner and we will focus on that game for now," Modise asserted.
Turning his focus to the PSL, Modise is adamant that Sundowns,
currently in 15th position after seven matches, can still win the
league.
"We are not playing in England where once Manchester United are
number one that's how it's going to end. In South Africa, we have seen
teams before in top positions but when the league ends, it turns out
different. So for us the race is still on," Modise added.
