The Urban Warriors are on a good run of form going into the final domestic game of the season against the Brazilians at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.
The Cape side are unbeaten in their last three league matches and have only lost three of their last 12 fixtures in all competitions.
"The confidence and the belief has grown so fast," Mobara told the official website of the PSL.
"The way things have been going, I don't think anyone can stop us now.
"Reaching the final is a great achievement for everyone - the club itself, management, the players," he said.
"This is the first time for most of the young players. It's been a long time since Ajax were in a final, and hopefully we'll be successful."
However, Mobara is well aware of the threat posed by Sundowns, who are desperate to win their first Nedbank Cup trophy since 2008, having conceded their Premiership crown to Kaizer Chiefs this term.
"Sundowns have very good forwards," he added. "Most of them are experienced, pacey, with great individual skill.
"For Saturday I think it's going to come down to team work and attitude - if we want it enough, we'll win it."
