Mhlongo: We won't undermine our opponents

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates' Brighton Mhlongo says they will not undermine their opponents, Guinean side AS Kaloum, in their CAF Confederation Cup third round, second leg at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Buccaneers are carrying a two goal advantage, after running away with a 2-0 victory in the away game almost two weeks ago.

However despite that good result, goalkeeper Mhlongo has told Sport24 that they won't undermine their opponents.

He said if they managed to beat them away, then they can also do the same here.

"We are taking this game very seriously,” Mhlongo said.

"We can't afford to undermine them. They are a good team and we have to respect them and fight for our win.

"We want to qualify for the group stages and we are just 90 minutes away.

"We know we can do it, but we won't undermine our opponents!"

Kick-off is at 15:00.
