Meyiwa out of Stars clash

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa has been ruled out of their Premier Soccer League (PSL) clash against Free State Stars on Wednesday night, Pirates' official website reports.

Meyiwa was substituted in last Saturday’s loss to Mamelodi Sundowns after complaining of severe cramps, and was replaced by Ghanaian goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.

Twenty-three-year-old Brighton Mhlongo has been re-called to the side to provide cover for Dauda, who is expected start against Stars.

Meanwhile, holding midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo has made a return to the side after serving a one match suspension due to accumulation of yellow cards.

Wednesday's clash at the Charles Mopeli Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
