Rustenburg - Out of form Platinum Stars skipper Vuyo Mere has admitted that he is not enjoying his game at the moment as he is still working on getting back to his rich vein of form for Dikwena.
The 31-year-old right-back will be looking to make amends when the North West Tycoons take on Bidvest Wits in an Absa Premiership clash at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Wednesday, November 4.
The Bloemfontein born defender told Sport24 in an exclusive interview that he believes that there is a room for improvement and he will continue working hard to get to a level where he wants to be.
“Our last win was a morale booster for us heading to the game against Wits,” Mere said.
“But honestly speaking, I am not satisfied with the way I’m playing at the moment.
“I am not on top of my game recently and that’s not good for the team.
“I’m not performing the way I should and you could see that I was battling to provide good crosses in the last game.
“And again I think that I am not consistent this season so far at all but I believe that there is a room for improvement.
“As far as I’m concerned, I’m still improving and I will continue to work hard to get back to my normal game.”
Stars will be looking to keep their unbeaten run going when they battle the Students.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
