Durban - Collins Mbesuma bagged a brace as Golden Arrows succumbed to a second-half blitzkrieg from Moroka Swallows.
Continuing this weekend's theme of truly terrible refereeing decisions, Arrows' opener will be debated by fans for quite some time.
As Swallows keeper Greg Etafia took a goal-kick out of hand, the referee failed to move out of his way. The ball struck the dimwitted official against the head and fell into the path of Richard Henyekane, who fired into an open net to give Arrows an undeserved lead.
But the goal counted though and Swallows drew level three minutes later with a well-taken goal from Mbesuma.
This opened the floodgates for Swallows, who scored another two before the end of the game.
Mbesuma bagged his brace with a superb individual effort, finishing off a fine run with a cool finish past the hapless Thulasiswe Khuzwayo.
And the Zambian almost completed his hat-trick with nine minutes to go when Kagiso Denge's driven shot took a deflection off him and beat Khuzwayo to nestle into the bottom corner. But the goal was later adjudged to be an own-goal as it took a deflection of Arrows defender Siyabonga Sangweni.
The win was soured somewhat when Keegan Ritchie was sent off late on for a second yellow card, but Swallows will be happy with the result that sees them move up to sixth while Arrows' slide down the table looks irreversible at the moment.
