According to Soccer Laduma, Matuka ended his four-year spell with the Steve Komphela’s side and revealed that he will be joining the Free State side.

“I’m delighted to confirm that next season I will be playing my football with Bloemfontein Celtic,” said Matuka.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with Maritzburg, but it felt that the time was now right for me to move on.

“I’ve always loved playing in front of the brilliant Siwelele fans, and I’m really happy that I’ll get to do that on a weekly basis for the next three years. I’m hoping for a really successful spell in the Free State.”

Matuka only appeared eight times for United in the 2014/15 campaign, struggling to break into Komphela’s side.

He ended the season with 720 minutes under his belt and a single yellow card.
