Matsatsantsa's '67 minutes'

Cape Town - Nelson Mandela International Day is all about global movement to honour his life’s work and act to change the world for the better - and PSL teams are doing their bit too by giving back to the community.

According to the SuperSport United website, SuperSport United players will help with some refurbishments at Phelindaba High School in Atteridgeville after their training session on Friday afternoon.

The team will get down to work by cleaning and refurbishing the old paint of the school after training.

This is how the Tshwane-based-outfit will be honouring the late Nelson Mandela who spent 67 years fighting for the freedom and the rights of the black masses of South Africa.

Last year Matsatsantsa did some gardening at the Atteridgeville's Old Age home during the Mandela Day.

Meanwhile SuperSport will be participating in the Gauteng Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Matsatsantsa take on neighbours University of Pretoria in the second semi-final.

Kick-off is at 12:00.

The first match takes place between Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows at 10:00.

All matches take place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
