The full-back was ruled out of South Africa's second 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo after picking up an Achilles tendon injury in training just 24 hours prior to the Peter Mokaba Stadium stalemate.

The Sea Robbers have an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from when they welcome Roger de Sa back to Orlando.

Pirates have won 11 of their 16 home matches against Ajax down the years with just three defeats along the way.

The Soweto side is unbeaten in their last six matches against Ajax, including a 2-1 home win and goalless away draw in the league last season.

Kick-off is at 20:15 on Saturday, October 25.

Pirates confirmed via their official Twitter account:
