Cape Town - SuperSport United midfielder David Mathebula is banking on history repeating itself with another win over defending Premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
Last season it was Matsatsantsa who ended Chiefs' 24-game unbeaten streak, as goals from Jeremy Brockie and Dove Wome secured a 2-0 victory on the day.
Having broken his nose last month against Orlando Pirates, Mathebula is relishing making a retun to action this weekend.
"We beat them last season and we will try to do the same again this season," Mathebula told KickOff.
"I think they will go into the game thinking about the result last season and look forward to getting the points, but this is our home game and we must try to get maximum points for our supporters.
"It's not going to be an easy game; they are defending champions, but obviously we also want to win silverware this season and we must get maximum points because we are playing at home.
"I am very happy to be back. Thanks to the medical team and the fitness trainer, they have done a good job. Now I must try my best to see how fit I am for the game on Saturday."
