Masuku departs Buccaneers

Cape Town - Khethowakhe Masuku is currently a free agent after being released by Orlando Pirates, his agent has confirmed.

The midfielder joined the Buccaneers from Black Leopards in 2012 but saw his playing time limited to just six appearances in the Premiership last term.

The Soweto giants have since opted to release the player, who is free to search for alternate employment ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.

"I can confirm that Masuku is a free agent," the 28-year-old's representative, Abbie Rasimphi, told KickOff.

"Pirates agreed to release him (on Thursday) and there is no bad blood between the two parties.

"The whole thing was done in a good and correct manner. What remains now is to talk to teams that are interested in him."
