Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela has called on the club's fans to come out in droves when they host Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Amakhosi contest their first home match of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership season this weekend, having opened their league title defence away to Chippa United, a match which ended goalless.
Masilela is, however, hoping the Glamour Boys will have a packed Soccer City to play in front of as they go in search of a response, having failed to down the 10-man Chilli Boys in Port Elizabeth last week.
"It is nice to play in front of a packed stadium. When we play away, the support has been great. I hope that they will now fill the FNB Stadium on Saturday night as well," he told Chiefs' official website.
Besides their stalemate against Chippa, the Soweto giants saw off Maritzburg United in the MTN8 quarter-finals, before playing out a 1-1 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic in the first leg of the semis, and Masilela believes there have been plenty positives to take away from all those games.
"We did well in the games we played so far," he added.
"We created a lot of chances. For sure, we conceded a lot of goals, but conceding goals is not only about the defence. We still have to improve in all departments.
"I agree, however, that we could have done better defensively, especially as a good defence helps you win championships. We just have to work hard to not concede."
Kick-off is at 20:15.
