Masilela: De Sa disrespectful

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela claims he was the victim of verbal abuse from Roger de Sa during Saturday's MTN8 final in Port Elizabeth.

Ajax Cape Town eventually emerged victorious from this weekend's Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium encounter thanks to a second-half penalty from Nathan Paulse.

However, the match was slightly marred in the closing moments following a confrontation between Ajax coach De Sa and Masilela, and the Chiefs full-back claims to have been shocked by what the tactician said to him in the fracas.

"Roger De Sa used the 'f word' and all I was saying that as a coach I respect him and I don't expect that from him," Masilela said after the game.

"I will never do that to him, I will never use the 'f word' to him.

"We haven’t shaken hands, but I’m sure in the heat of the moment everyone wants to win."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
