Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana midfielder Mandla Masango believes that finding a new lifeline in Denmark will help him move on and continue taking his career to greater heights.
The Kwaggafontein born attacker recently found a new home after signing for the Danish side Randers FC, following his departure from Kaizer Chiefs due to a wage dispute in June.
The 26-year-old wasted no time in announcing his arrival in Denmark, after finding the back of the net on his debut in their 2-0 triumph over Aalborg BK on Sunday.
“Bullet” believes that a regular football will help him achieve his ambition of taking his career to the next level in abroad.
“It was a frustrating time for me on the side lines," said Masango.
“But now I’m happy because I have managed to find a new team.
“And I believe that playing a regular football going forward would help me move on and take my career into greater heights.”
Masango will be looking to continue with his momentum in Bafana colours when they take on Mauritania in a AFCON qualifier at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, September 5.
Kick-off is at 20:00 (SA time).
