Masango scored in the 12th minute to set the tone for another scintillating performance by the Glamour Boys and was upbeat after he was awarded with the Absa Man of the Match for his efforts.

“I am happy that I scored today but most importantly glad the team won the three points,” Masango said on the clubs website.

“The points away are welcome and a reward for the hard work we have been putting at training.”

“It’s nothing but the extra work and teamwork. The team is hungry for success. The attitude is sky high and everybody is playing his role in the team.”

“We believe in each other. We help each other to improve. Everyone is contributing and the Coaches are encouraging us. We share the load and share the glory,” concluded Masango.

Chiefs turn their focus to MTN8 Cup on Saturday, August 16 when they face defending champions Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

The game is scheduled for kick-off at 20:15.
