Chiefs are set to return to training for pre-season on June 28, where they will begin a new era under newly installed coach Stuart Baxter.
And looking towards the upcoming campaign, Masango feels it is in the final third where Amakhosi need the most improvement.
"It is not only strikers that need to score. All 11 players can score, even the keeper," he told the club's official website.
"I think we need to work hard in the final third because even last season we created lot of chances but rushed and made wrong decisions. I think if we can be bit calmer and composed in the final third and try place shots and not shoot wildly it will make difference.
"I mean if you look at guys like Messi, he is calm in the box and makes scoring look easy. We also need to more on sharing the ball in the final third."
Speaking of his own contributions for next season, he added: "I have been working in the gym during off season as we were all handed programs to work on.
"I feel refreshed and like everyone I am looking forward to the pre-season. We need to put all that happened last season behind us and work hard to win things next season."
