Maritzburg focuses on defence

Cape Town - The Team of Choice are out to strengthen their defence ahead of the upcoming 2014/15 PSL season.

The club has signed 23-year-old Zimbabwean left back, Khumbulani Banda for two seasons from Highlanders in Zimbabwe, the club's website said.

The young defender has featured four times already for the Zimbabwean National team and is considered to be a very skillful defender.

The list of new signings continues to grow at the Team of Choice ahead of a push into the top 10 of the PSL for the first time in the club's history.

Pre-season preparations are going on very well under head coach Steve Komphela and his technical team and fans of the Maritzburg side are hopeful of a better showing this season.
