Cape Town - Cavin Johnson’s SuperSport United will have to play without new signing Lerato Manzini in their opening PSL fixture against Bidvest Wits.

According to Soccer Laduma, the 22-year-old will not recover in time for the encounter after a collision with Orlando Pirates defender Siyabonga Sangweni in the MTN8 quarter-final.

Manzini joined Matsatsantsa from Bloemfontein Celtic on a season-long loan and made his debut for United against the Buccaneers.
