Manyisa signs new deal...with PUMA!

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates captain and Bafana Bafana midfielder Oupa Manyisa has signed a long term deal with PUMA extending beyond 2017.

The 26-year-old play-maker, who has 17 Bafana caps and is the current Orlando Pirates Player of the Year, will be supplied with PUMA performance and lifestyle gear and will play in PUMA’s evoSPEED boot - the same as global superstars including Sergio Aguero and Falcao.

Manyisa, whose team honours include two PSL league titles, said: “ I’m excited to join PUMA, it’s an honour to be in the same stable with big stars such as Cesc Fabregas and Sergio Aguero.

"The vision they have on a local front is also very refreshing and exciting. I hope our relationship will go beyond football.

"I am finally Forever Faster.”

He links up with a host of South African stars like Steven Pienaar, Themba Zwane and Tokelo Rantie sporting PUMA. He also joins the likes of Yaya Toure, Cesc Fabregas, Sergio Aguero and Falcao wearing the leaping Cat.

“PUMA is excited to be welcoming Oupa to the PUMA Football family.

"As both a Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates player he has certainly showed his play-making ability and his recent appointment as Orlando Pirates captain has shown his ability to lead and step into a position in a difficult time for the team,” said PUMA South Africa’s Marketing Director Brett Bellinger.

“We wish him well for the balance of the PSL season and of course in Afcon 2015.”

Oupa Manyisa will sport PUMA performance and lifestyle gear:
