Manyisa boost for Pirates

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have received a timely boost with the availability of midfielder Oupa Manyisa ahead of Saturday's league clash against Platinum Stars at the Orlando Stadium.

According to the Football411 website, Manyisa missed Monday's 1-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic due to suspension because of an accumulation of yellow cards.

The 25-year-old was back at training on Tuesday along with full-back Happy Jele according to the club's website.

Jele has recovered from a hamstring injury suffered during the Buccaneers' league match against Maritzburg United and was replaced Lucky Lekgwathi.

He is currently being monitored by the club's physiotherapists and is set to undergo a series of fitness tests before he can cleared for selection.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
