Cape Town - Orlando Pirates captain Oupa Manyisa admits that it is sad that they lost to SuperSport United but they will keep fighting on.
After their game against Matsatsansta was abandoned with Pirates trailing 1-0, they played the final half hour the following day, but were unable change the score.
Manyisa said that this was just the first PSL game and they still have a lot to fight in the league.
"We will keep on fighting," Manyisa said.
"We have more games to play where we can win points and though it's very sad that we lost against SuperSport we have more to fight for.
"We will keep on fighting and won't give up."
Pirates have a rare rest weekend ahead, after Ajax Cape Town surprised them last week in the MTN8 quarter-finals, and they missed out on a place in this weekend’s semi-finals.
However, they are back in action next week when they take on Chippa United in a PSL encounter on Tuesday, August 18 before meeting AC Leopards in the CAF Confederations Cup next weekend.
