According to Soccer Laduma, Manqele was set to meet with Sundowns at the PSL DRC on Wednesday, August 27.
Manqele spent last season at Moroka Swallows on loan where he netted eight times for the Dube Birds.
“When Sundowns returned from their camp in Polokwane, we sat down with the team management and we said to them, we have looked at the players that Sundowns have and we saw that he won’t get game time here, so please release him from his contract,” said Manqele’s, agent Josiah Mphono, told Sport24 last month.
It was revealed that the 27-year-old has resolved the matter with Sundowns and will soon announce his loan deal before the 17:00 deadline on Friday, August 29.
