According KickOff, Manqele has inked a one-year season-long loan deal with the new Port Elizabeth side.

Sport24 reported last month that Sundowns confirmed the loan after pushing for weeks to get out of Chloorkop, Manqele’s wishes have finally been granted.

Two weeks later Manqele’s agent will not be loaned out to Chippa United with the deal being off the table.

Manqele’s agent, Josia Mphono has revealed that the striker will not become a Chilli Boy. “That deal to Chippa is off and we are waiting for Sundowns to hear for a way forward,” said the agent.

The debacle has finally concluded with the 27-year-old getting his move away from the PSL champions.

“We finalised everything last night. Manqele is set to be registered with the PSL today,” said Mphono.

Meanwhile Chippa welcome the youthful Ajax Cape Town to the Eastern Cape as they go head-to-head in the Absa Premiership encounter on Friday, August 29 at 20:00.
