Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka said next season will be even harder for the Premiership champions when the hunter becomes the hunted.
Chiefs enjoyed a record-breaking campaign on their way to the Premiership and MTN8 double, setting a new benchmark for points in a season with 69, while they also made it the most wins in the PSL era with 21.
Maluleka, though, feels Chiefs will not have it so easy next term, telling KickOff: "I hope we do well [next season]. We are going to work hard next season.
"It's not going to be easy because teams have seen what we are capable of, especially this season and teams will try to step up next season."
Maluleka was also extremely proud after winning the MTN8 Last Man Standing at the PSL awards gala earlier this month, adding: "It was a great feeling. It was my first award during the PSL Awards. I am happy. I was happy to win both the MTN8 and the League as a team.”
