Malajila, Schut boost for 'Downs

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have received a timely boost ahead of the colossal league clash against Orlando Pirates with timely returns of some key members to the team.

According to Sundowns official website, Cuthbert Malajila recovered in time from a hamstring injury that saw the red hot Zimbabwean striker stretchered off in the victory against Free State Stars.

Inspirational captain, Alje Schut, has recovered from his injury and will be available for the match.

On the other hand, Mario Booysens has not recovered from his groin injury and will miss the clash together with fellow defender, Tebogo Langerman.

Elias Pelembe and Katlego Mashego are also still recovering from their respective injuries and will surely miss the match to be played at the Orlando Stadium.

Nigerian international Uzoenyi Ejike was very unfortunate to suffer a groin injury right on the eve of the match against Free State Stars.

Pirates will look to avoid a third successive Absa Premiership defeat when they face Mamelodi Sundowns at Orlando Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, December 10.
