According to KickOff, Magqwaka wants to secure his release from the Urban Warriors and the matter is set to have a hearing on December 4.
It has been reported that Magqwaka has since been suspended by the club and Ajax are now refusing to release the player to represent Bafana Bafana against Ivory Coast in the Nelson Mandela Challenge encounter scheduled to be player on Sunday, November 30.
Magqwaka’s lawyer, Theo Mapheto, has revealed that the national Under-20 captain has been the centre of “endless abuse and heavy-handedness” by the Ikamva club.
“I have urgent instructions to ensure that this protracted dispute is brought to a halt,” said Mapheto.
“It cannot be in the interests of justice that a player of my client’s potential is subjected to endless abuse and heavy-handedness. He is young and must be protected. Justice must prevail.
“We intend to impress upon the PSL to set an example by protecting the interests of the player.”
