Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda could be stuck at the club for a long period without playing.

The former Black Leopards midfielder is not in coach Pitso Mosimane's plans for the season.

Mabunda has been training with other fringe players since the start of the new season, and a source close to the team says that is doesn’t look like there is another loan deal on the cards for him.

"Things are not looking good for Tiyani," the source told Sport24.

“You know last season he was on loan at Free State Stars and since he came back he hasn't trained with the first team.

“Now that the windows period is just two days away he still doesn't have a team, and it seems like he will be still training on his own or with other fringe players.

"Things are not good for Mabunda.”
