According to KickOff, the former Bafana Bafana captain inked a short-term deal with Steve Barker’s side.
The 34-year-olds agent, Mike Makaab, confesses that he is set to meet with Mabizela to plot his next move.
“I think we need to be sensitive with how treat this matter because Amazulu has just got relegated,” Makaab said.
“But we haven’t decided on what we need to do next regarding the player’s future as well as other players.”
Earlier in May, Usuthu captain Robyn Johannes was involved in a bust-up with Mabizela after their 3-1 defeat to Supersport United.
However, club coach Steve Barker admits that it is normal for players to get involved in altercations after a tough loss and he says that their reaction showed that they cared about getting a better result.
Mabizela represented Usuthu 12-times and netted four goals.
The defender ended the season with having played a 1020 minutes and receiving three yellow cards and a single red.
