Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates winger Dikgang Mabalane has revealed his incredible goal return since returning from injury is down to personal reflection.
The 31-year-old was sidelined for three months due to a groin injury and has netted three times in the two games he has played following his recovery.
When asked about his sensational form, 'Terminator' told the club's official website: "I take my career very serious. I am not a youngster anymore and everything I do has to be done with a lot of thinking.
"While I was out I tried to do a thorough analysis of my personal game and I did not want to be the same player when I was eventually ready to play.
"I am a bit more adventurous now in terms of getting in the box and I try to shoot a lot more than before... this is perhaps what was lacking for me. Now the goals are coming, so I guess my thinking was right."
Mabalane also revealed the form of the team, who are now back at the PSL summit, has helped him find his rhythm immediately.
"The team is playing well, and nothing much has changed, so it was a bit easy for me to get in and just do what we ought to achieve as a team this season," he concluded.
