Letsoaka raring to go

Cape Town - New Golden Arrows coach, Serame Letsoaka, says that he has settled in at the club quickly and is already enjoying working with the players.

Letsoaka was appointed as head coach in somewhat controversial circumstances after Shaun Bartlett was overlooked having just gained promotion with the club.

The incoming coach has brushed off the negative attention in that regard and got straight to work.

“I am enjoying myself here,” he told Sport24.

“The players are responding very well to training.

Arrows fans will have to wait a few weeks before they can lay their eyes on the new-look ‘Backheel Boys’ as they will only play their first friendlies at a pre-season tournament in Durban.

“We’re only in the second week of training, in the fourth week we will be playing a tournament in Durban.

“We will play all the Durban teams, Amazulu, Maritzburg and (Royal) Eagles,” the coach revealed.
