Cape Town - New Lamontville Golden Arrows coach, Serame Letsoaka, has recognised that taking a head coaching post in the PSL comes with a lot of financial responsibility.
Letsoaka spoke to Sport24 about the difficulty of facing life in the top flight without a sponsor, but he also suggested that certain financial burdens can be cured with good football.
“Once we start playing a brand of football that we want, and of course getting the results, I’m sure a sponsor will come in,” he said.
“A club like Golden Arrows is worth more than 50 million, and if the results aren’t going your way then you are losing an investment of 50 million.”
Letsoaka is aware of the pressure that he will be under from all sorts of areas.
“There will definitely be a lot of pressure from the management as well as the supporters.
“With the media there is always pressure from them. We are well aware of the pressure that is out there and we are prepared to deal with that accordingly.”
