Lechesa denies Arrows move

Cape Town - Duncan Lechesa has contradicted the reports suggesting that he may be joining up with Serame Letsoaka at Lamontville Golden Arrows.

After Shaun Bartlett and his entire technical team were released by the KZN-based club it has been reported that Lechesa is the man that Arrows management would like to rope in as assistant coach.

“No, it’s news to me!” Lechesa told Sport24 when asked if the reports held any weight.

He is currently coaching Bloemfontein Celtic’s feeder team, Roses United FC, in the ABC Motsepe League and has insisted that he will be there for the 2015/16 season.

“I am still at Roses, I am not going anywhere.”

While he has denied being contacted for the vacant position, the lure of the PSL could well prompt Lechesa to consider the move if an offer is made by Arrows.
