Lebese wary of Dikwena threat

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Lebese admits the side will face a tough test against Platinum Stars on Sunday, but remains confident of progressing in the Telkom Knockout.

The teams lock horns this weekend as two of the three teams still unbeaten in the Premiership this season, with Dikwena leading the way at the top of the standings while Chiefs find themselves in fifth, four points adrift.

It was also Dinaledi who knocked Amakhosi out of the TKO last season, and Lebese admits all of that will factor into this weekend's Moruleng Stadium encounter.

"If you remember, Platinum Stars are the team that knocked us out of the same cup last season when we lost on penalties," he told Soccer Laduma.

"We know how good they are. Look at the way they are currently playing in the league.

"They are one of the unbeaten teams in the league, but you know, as Kaizer Chiefs, we want to win each and every trophy that we compete in."

Kick-off is at 15:00.
