Cape Town - George Lebese admits that the contract offer from Kaizer Chiefs was irresistible after extending his deal for three years.
“Kaizer Chiefs is a big Club and I was offered a good three year deal. I couldn’t turn it down,” reflects about extending his contract with Amakhosi on the clubs website.
The 26-year-old had an excellent 2014/2015 season, helping Chiefs to a record-breaking Absa Premiership title and the MTN8 trophy.
He started last season in 19 league games, coming on twice as a substitution and scoring seven goals.
Lebese got recognition at the recently held Chiefs Player Awards evening by winning the Player of the Month trophies for the months of November and April.
“I am happy to be involved with Chiefs for three more years.
“Hopefully it will even be for longer.”
