Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen says the club is well prepared to win their final two games of the season and push to maintain their spot in the top eight.

Phunya Sele Sele take on neighbours Free State Stars on Wednesday and travel to struggling Moroka Swallows on Saturday for the last game of the season.

Celtic are looking to bounce back from an agonising 3-2 home defeat to Ajax Cape Town on Sunday, but Ea Llo Koto will not be an easy side to beat.

"Obviously the entire team felt shattered after losing in such painful way but the focus is now on Free State Stars," Larsen told his club's website.

Free State Stars have won their last four consecutive Premiership games and are themselves pushing for a place in the top eight.

"Stars have been in phenomenal form and have some exciting players but our team is equally competent," he added.

"Playing home always gives you the edge and just has to guard against complacency and again our players know the importance of winning our two remaining games at all costs.

"Regardless of how we faulted in our last game the reality is we have the mandate to try and achieve as a unit.

"Also paramount is closing the season highly as that always gives supporters a nice gift to brag about."
