Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach, Clinton Larsen, has declared himself happy with his side's progress ahead of a busy pre-season schedule.
Phunya Sele Sele have been working on their fitness levels since returning for pre-season training last month, and have a whole host of games lined up before the Premier Soccer League campaign gets under way.
Larsen's men lock horns with University of Pretoria on Wednesday before taking on Mpumalanga Black Aces in the Maize Cup semi-final on Saturday.
"We are very happy with where we are right now and aside from the three or four matches in a week, we will also have two more next week, one against SuperSport United," Larsen told Supersport.com.
"We are well and truly through the conditioning phase of our pre-season and it is now about playing as many matches as possible to get the miles in the legs before the new season starts.
"I was really happy with what I saw against Pirates, the guys are looking sharp and overall we are just where we want to be at this stage of pre-season."
