Langwe joins struggling Usuthu

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits midfielder Asive Langwe will now ply his trade at AmaZulu, after finalising a loan agreement with the Durban-based club.

Langwe is expected to remain at Usuthu for the remainder of the season, where it is hoped that he will be able to help the club avoid relegation.

"Asive Langwe has signed on a loan contract with us for the duration of this season," read a statement on the clubs website, who currently sit rock bottom of the Premiership standings.

Langwe has already featured in some of the mid-season training activities at Usuthu and indications are that he will have a considerable amount to offer when the campaign resumes in February.

"He is looking good and he scored our only goal when we played against Royal Leopards in Swaziland in our first match," said Usuthu team manager Japhet Zwane.

Langwe is the fourth signing that AmaZulu have made during this transfer window period after having snapped up Mbulelo Mabizela, Bongi Ntuli and Roscoe Pietersen.
