La Liga move interests Doutie

Cape Town - Former SuperSport United midfielder Sameehg Doutie has set his sights on making a move to Spain after recently signing for Atletico de Kolkata.

The 26-year-old recently signed for the Indian Super League (ISL) side following a successful loan spell with Bidvest Wits in the second half o fthe 2014/15 Premiership campaign.

He is looking forward to the new challenge and hopes to claim the league title in his first season a tthe club.

Beyond that, however, Doutie has set his sights on earning a move to a club in Spain.

"I feel privileged, excited as well as honoured to start a new chapter in my career. Well, I aim to win the league with my new club," Doutie told goal.com.

"I would like to play in the Spanish league one day. Looking back, I really think I enjoyed myself at all of the clubs I played for, as it was all different experiences."

The Capetonian started his career at Ajax before signing for Orlando Pirates in 2011. He stay with the Buccaneers for just one season before linking up with SuperSport United.
