Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates boss Ruud Krol has again admitted that the Soweto club need to bring in a striker after they played out to a goalless draw with Wits on Saturday.

The Buccaneers stalemate with the Students means that they have played to four successive goalless draws in the Premier Soccer League and Dutch-born mentor admitted that they would need a new hitman if they are to end their goal-scoring woes.

"I think the problem was that we didn't create too many chances, where as our problem of late has been creating too many chances and not scoring," he said after the game at the Bidvest Stadium.

"I think the mistake we have been making both in the game against SuperSport and against Wits is that we getted sucked into their way of playing long balls and that is not our style.

"Our style is different, we have to start from the back, then it becomes easier for ourselves.

"But a real problem for us it that we still don't have a real striker."

Krol admitted that it was no longer possible for his charges to win the league, but is still confident they can claim second spot.

"Now we have to aim high and finish as high as possible, I don't think it is possible for us to finish in first place anymore, but we must look to finish in at least second place and we can continue next year in the African Champions League," he concluded.
